Position Description
The Laboratory of Dr. Saenger is seeking a full-time research assistant to assume a variety of functions. Dr. Saenger is a physician-scientist who is committed to mentoring young aspiring scientists and physicians in the fields of cancer immunology. Immuno-oncology is a fast-moving field and the lab's research is constantly evolving in response to new findings.
Responsibilities Include
- Analyzing the location and phenotype of immune cells in the tumor to identify patterns that determine clinical outcomes
- Using state of the art digital pathology methods to characterize tumors
- Identifying features that make certain cancer patients more likely to respond to treatment
Position Requirements
- Prior laboratory experience, a plus
