Position Description
The Yale University School of Medicine, Stroke and Neurology Critical Care Department is seeking two to three research assistants to join Dr. Kevin Sheth, MD's critical care research group. Research associates will gain extensive clinical experience by interacting with critically ill patients in the Neurosciences ICU and working collaboratively with the medical team. Associates are welcome and encouraged to attend department conferences, lectures, and rounds.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in ongoing clinical research projects, including data collection, preprocessing, and computational analysis
- Writing for grants and abstracts
- Preparing manuscripts
- Presenting at conferences
Position Requirements
- An interest in the neurosciences a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment
