Position Description
The Zhiguo Zhang’s Laboratory in the Institute for Cancer Genetics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking to recruit hard-working, ambitious, and energetic research assistants as part of their research team.

Research in the Zhang laboratory is focused on epigenetic inheritance and cancer epigenetic. They have positions open for research assistant who are well versed in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture and/or protein structural determination.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting members of the lab to analyze DNA methylomes of plasma cell free DNA or to generate embryonic stem cell lines for CRISPR/Cas9 screening depending on the research interest and experience.

Position Requirements

  • A basic understanding of standard techniques and tools in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology
