Past Full-time, Paid, Clinical Research Coordinator, Psychiatry March 24, 2020 Posted Tues., Feb. 11 Position DescriptionThe Cognitive Psychophysiology Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine is seeking a clinical research coordinator to join a multidisciplinary team and work on a MRI study. Specifically, this study will examine neurobiological changes over time in healthy controls, individuals with schizotypal personality disorder, and recent-onset schizophrenia patients in order to better understand mechanisms of risk and resilience in the schizophrenia spectrum. Responsibilities include: Recruiting, screening, enrolling, and obtaining informed consent from participants in the community to participate in research. Maintaining participant information in accordance with IRB regulatory procedures. Assisting in preparation of IRB documentation for protocol submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews. Communicating regularly with the study team to ensure completion of all study procedures. Assisting in data collection and analysis. Position Requirements Bachelor's in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field Some research training in cognitive neuroscience and/or clinical psychology. Experience with statistics (e.g., coursework, senior honor thesis including statistical analysis, etc.) a plus.
