Position Description
The Parasitology and Tropical Medicine Clinic at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join their clinic. The Clinical Coordinator would additionally serve as the Administrative Assistant on grants and work to promote health and safety among the Latin American and West African communities in New York.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting the Department Coordinator with all administrative tasks of the clinic (this includes scheduling appointments, calling patients, prior authorizations, etc.)

Collecting patients’ medical history

Taking vital signs and performing medication reconciliations

Consolidating and keeping record of patient images and scans for future educational/research purposes

Coordinating and participating in the research activities of the physicians in the clinic
Position Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish language a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
Compensation
$15 per hour
