Position Description
Central Park Physicians, a boutique cardiology and internal medicine practice, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This role provides an excellent clinical experience for gap year students interested in medicine. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a single physician, assisting with patient history-taking, administering diagnostic tests, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting the physician in obtaining patient histories

Administering and managing various testing modalities

Supporting the clinical team in maintaining efficient office workflow

Providing direct patient interaction and ensuring a high standard of care
Position Requirements

Hardworking, detail-oriented, and efficient

Friendly and personable with strong interpersonal skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting

Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
Time Commitment

20-40 hours per week

Minimum 1-year commitment preferred
Compensation

$22 per hour

Performance-based raise after 3 months
