Position Description
The Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is seeking experienced individuals for an unpaid internship. The Gap year internship offers accomplished students the opportunity to work closely with a faculty mentor on one or more research projects related to pediatric nephrology.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the faculty member in an ongoing research project.
- Taking ownership of a research project and writing a manuscript by the end of the year.
- Attending lectures on general pediatrics topics
- Shadowing pediatric nephrologists in the out-patient clinic and attend in-patient rounds.
- Assisting with special projects and general office support
Time Commitment
Full-time commitment of one year
