Position Description
Dr. Maria New, Research Director of Mount Sinai's Adrenal Steroid Disorders Program, is currently accepting Research Observers for Fall 2019. The Adrenal Steroid Disorders Program studies a variety of disorders resulting from disruption of adrenal steroid metabolism including congenital adrenal hyperplasia, apparent mineralocorticoid excess, and intersex conditions. Currently, Dr. New's research on genetic steroid disorders emphasizes genotype/phenotype correlation and prenatal diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Literature reviews 
  • research project development 
  • co-authoring a research publication 
  • attending post-clinic conferences
  • administrative assistance 

Position Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder 

Time Commitment
Full time (1-3 months)/Part time (2 months minimum): Preference is given to full time candidates, however we also pleased to accept part time applications.
