Position Description
Dr. Erin Hazlett, PhD., professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS), is seeking a part-time volunteer for her Cognitive Psychopathology Lab at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center and ISMMS. Their ongoing studies involve psychophysiology and functional/structural MRI scanning in healthy Veterans and those with major depressive disorder at low and high risk for suicide.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in a study involving the neurobiological mechanisms of suicidal behavior and emotion regulation in Veterans
- Assisting with data organization/interpretation and participant recruitment
Position Requirements
- Majoring in Psychology, a plus
Time Commitment
Part-time, consisting of a 6-10 hours per week.
