Position Description
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, WTC Pulmonary Disease Research Project, is seeking a volunteer to fill an open Academic and Research Assistant position.
Responsibilities include:
- Interacting with patients
- Managing and entering data into the database
- Extracting clinical data from charts
- Preparing documents and/or slides
- Drafting reports
- Assisting with bibliographic searches, lecture preparation, and other administrative
support tasks
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
- Interest and/or experience in clinical research support and data management a plus
- Being bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Master's degree a plus
Time Commitment
Part-time, 15 hours per week (minimum) starting in September 2022.
