Position Description
The Columbia University School of Nursing is looking to hire a Columbia University student to assistant with a very important research project. The candidate will be involved in a federally funded project focusing on HIV prevention and management. This is a temporary position with a flexible work schedule and is mostly remote due to COVID-19, but there are times when in-person work is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering assessments to research participants
- Assisting in research protocol implementation
- Providing support with literature reviews & data collection
- Translation of study materials into Spanish
- Assisting with manuscript preparation
- Assisting with community outreach (social media & in-person)
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Quantitative or qualitative data collection experience
- Interest in psychology, LGBTQ+ health, social science research, and/or HIV Prevention
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Time Commitment
Part-time, flexible schedule, with some weekends and evenings required
Compensation
$20/hour
