Position Description
The Columbia University School of Nursing is seeking a Columbia University student to assist with federally funded projects focusing on HIV prevention and management. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering assessments to research participants
  • Assisting in research protocol implementation
  • Providing support with literature reviews & data collection
  • Assisting with manuscript preparation
  • Assisting with community outreach and recruitment (social media & in person)
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Quantitative or qualitative data collection experience
  • Interest in psychology, LGBT health, social science research, and/or HIV Prevention
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and database entry/management skills 
  • Willingness to work weekends/evenings

Time Commitment
Part-time, flexible hours up to 20 hours per week. Student research workers are expected to work a hybrid work schedule and in-office days are required. This is a temporary grant funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant.

Compensation
$22 per hour
