Position Description
The Laboratory of Dr. Kira Gritsman at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is looking for a research technician to help them study the role of PI3 kinase signaling in hematopoiesis and leukemia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing genetic mouse models to determine whether PI3 kinase is required for hematopoiesis and leukemia initiation and maintenance

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors in a related science or equivalent skills and experience
  • 2 - 4.5 years' experience. Candidates with one year of lab experience will also be considered, given the experience is relevant for cell and molecular biology work.
  • 1 year spent in a cell or molecular biology laboratory is a plus
  • Experience with mice is a plus
  • Experience with sterile technique is a plus
