Responsibilities include: Performing yeast cell work Performing tissue culture work Performing various standard biochemical, molecular biology, and cell biology experiments in yeast and human cells Purifying proteins from bacteria, yeast, and human cells Performing experiments to study protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid interaction Performing experiments related to studying protein chemistry Isolating DNA from bacterial, yeast, and human cells Performing PCR, gene cloning, and DNA gel electrophoresis Preparing common lab reagents. Ordering, receiving, storing lab reagents and supplies, and maintaining inventories Position Requirements Bachelors in a related science or equivalent skills and experience required.
