Position Description
The NYU Interdisciplinary Pain Research Program is seeking a research associate/coordinator that will participate in all study-related activities for projects in the Interdisciplinary Pain Research Program.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting human research protocols
- Enrolling and consenting patients
- Delivering study interventions
- Performing statistical analysis
- Drafting manuscripts
- Working on projects such as developing electrophysiological biomarkers for pain with machine learning and a phase 3 multi-center clinical trial on treating acute and chronic pain
- Assisting with lab activities, including in vivo electrophysiology and neuroimaging in freely behaving rodents and a variety of neuromodulation methods with machine learning and deep learning algorithms
Position Requirements
- Recent graduates with a science background
- Quantitative skills
Time Commitment
Full-time, two-year commitment preferred.
