Position Description
The Mood, Brain and Development Unit (MBDU) at the National Institutes of Health is seeking students to apply to their Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) Fellowship. IRTAs are part of a multidisciplinary research team of physicians, psychologists, clinical social workers, and psychiatric nurses.
Responsibilities include:
- Gaining experience working with patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Obvserving diagnostic interviews with patients
- Administering standard pshychometric measures
- Training subjects to participate in neuroimaging
- Analyzing neuroimaging data
- Implementing protocol
- Collecting, entering and analyzing data
- Preparing manuscripts
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a commitment of two years
