Full-time, Paid, Research Assistant, Pediatrics

Position Description 
The Department of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a student to work as a research assistant. Th Research Assistant would be working on multiple projects, which may range in research topics such as asthma, mental health, sickle cell, and substance use.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing recruitment, screening and enrollment of research participants
  • Coordinating research activities 
  • Conducting data collection, data entry and database management 
  • Conducting literature searches 
  • Assisting in manuscript preparation 
  • Assisting in abstract and grant preparation 
  • Performing other related duties necessary to the functioning of the research projects 

Position Requirements: 

  • Proficiency with computer operations and software programs
  • Must be highly motivated 
  • Must be able to to work independently 
  • Must be able to multitask efficiently and successfully 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Must perform work in a neat and organized manner 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Experience with SPSS, SAS, or Stata preferred
