Position Description
The Department of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a student to work as a research assistant. Th Research Assistant would be working on multiple projects, which may range in research topics such as asthma, mental health, sickle cell, and substance use.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing recruitment, screening and enrollment of research participants
- Coordinating research activities
- Conducting data collection, data entry and database management
- Conducting literature searches
- Assisting in manuscript preparation
- Assisting in abstract and grant preparation
- Performing other related duties necessary to the functioning of the research projects
Position Requirements:
- Proficiency with computer operations and software programs
- Must be highly motivated
- Must be able to to work independently
- Must be able to multitask efficiently and successfully
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must perform work in a neat and organized manner
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with SPSS, SAS, or Stata preferred
