Position Description
The Weil Cornell Division of Nephrology, Hypertension and Transplantation Medicine is seeking a clinical research assistant to work closely with Dr. August and Dr. Malha on studies evaluating the preventative potential of aspirin for women at high risk of preeclampsia and the influence of RAS blockade medications on COVID-19 antibody concentrations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in abstract/manuscript drafting for studies 
  • Screening and enrolling study candidates
  • Collecting and recording study data into REDCap and Microsoft Excel
  • Ensuring accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews
  • Contacting patients to conduct study surveys
  • Collecting, delivering and storing clinical specimens as required by study protocols
  • Assisting in preparing new and continuing review submissions as well as progress reports to sponsors and institutional regulatory bodies such as the IRB and Joint Clinical Trials Office
  • Performing other research related duties as required

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or postbaccalaureate degree in health-related scientific discipline
  • Knowledge of data management
  • One or more years of experience in research in a hospital and/or academic environment a plus

Time Commitment
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
