Position Description
The HSS Research Institute and HSS Precision Medicine Laboratory are seeking biomedical Research Assistant to start in Summer 2022. This Research Assistant position is ideal for new graduates looking to enrich their clinical and laboratory research experience before entering Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Consenting patients in the clinic
- Performing data collection/entry from patient charts
- Developing an independent project using innovative transcriptomic and genomic technologies to extend their work in the fields of human autoimmunity and clinical metagenomics.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent academic record in subjects related to the
Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Engineering
- Significant laboratory experience.
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment starting in Summer 2022.
