Position Description
Columbia University Fertility Center is seeking a research assistant to work closely with patients and a team of clinicians, researchers, scientists, and embryologists to develop new technologies and gain scientific knowledge that will help bring life into the world. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in research and educational projects
- Developing research projects
- Working in the clinic recruiting study subjects
- Working in the lab helping develop new technologies
- Helping write-up and present findings
Position Requirements
- Works well with patients and teams
- Highly motivated and organized with strong attention to detail
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Experience in engineering, chemistry, molecular biology, material sciences, and/or bioinformatics a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a minimum commitment of one year (two years a plus)
