Position Description
dQ&A, a diabetes research and advocacy company that aims to translate patient perspectives into information that can be used to develop better diabetes products and services, is seeking graduating seniors to join their team as analysts.

Responsibilities include:

Quantitative Analyst: 

  • Developing and fielding online research surveys to people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals across the United States, Canada, and Europe
  • Analyzing data from online surveys, discussion board communities, interviews, and mobile ethnographies
  • Translating data analysis into compelling reports and visualizations that tell the story of the data and uncover important insights
  • Leading and managing projects, clients, partners, and vendors
  • Publishing and presenting findings at global and international medical conferences and in peer-reviewed journals
  • Gaining early management experience as you take responsibility for new analysts in your second year
  • Working closely with other team members in a flexible/hybrid work environment
  • Occasionally traveling to diabetes conferences and/or client sites

Qualitative Analyst: 

  • Developing recruitment surveys to people with diabetes and health care professionals
  • Analyzing qualitative data from discussion board communities, interviews, focus groups, and mobile ethnographies
  • Viewing qualitative research sessions
  • Receiving moderator training and conduct qualitative interviews with people with diabetes and healthcare professionals
  • Writing qualitative research reports
  • Taking on additional responsibilities and broaden your knowledge in your second year
  • Working closely with other team members in a flexible/hybrid work environment
  • Occasionally traveling to diabetes conferences and/or client sites

Position Requirements

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Academic experience with research or data analysis is a plus
  • Can multi-task, learn, and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
  • Attention to detail and have a quality-focused mindset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or PowerPoint a plus
  • Experience with survey or computer programming or statistical software, such as SPSS, SAS, R, MarketSight, or Qualtrics a plus

Time Commitment
Full-time, with a minimum commitment of 2 years.

Compensation
TBD. Appropriate for living in San Francisco with promotion opportunities and salary increase after 12 months. 401(k) plan with employer contribution and health insurance plan. Also includes financial support for gym membership/fitness classes, public transportation pass, and professional development support
