Position Description
The Massachusetts General Hospital Ammon-Pinizzotto Center for Women’s Mental Health is seeking to hire a Program Manager.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinating an active clinical research portfolio, including a range of human subjects studies and related clinical research activities, including recruitment, IRB oversight, regulatory matters, and manuscript preparation
  • Ensuring research integrity, including data documentation and data management.
  • Providing oversight for all research activities, and develop QI/QC processes for studies and program activities
  • Serving as a resource for study subjects
  • Managing laboratory supply and investigational product inventory; securing and shipping study samples and IP
  • Working with PIs to develop budgets and coordinate all aspects of grant submission to federal, industry, and foundation funding agencies
  • Coordinating post-award recruitment, progress, adverse event, and other reporting to funding agencies
  • Facilitating business development with new and existing industry sponsors
  • Being the primary point of contact for the Office of Research Management, Office of Research Finance, Office of Development, and the Department’s Senior Grants Administrator
  • Performing invoicing and monthly budget reconciliations
  • Developing and managing research study project budgets
  • Being the primary point of contact for Human Resources for post-hiring people operations
  • Developing, overseeing, and improving personnel training and development plans for six Clinical Research Coordinators, including: providing oversight and direction regarding project progress and meeting with each CRC weekly and supporting recruiting and hiring
  • Meeting regularly with program leadership to discuss strategic planning, operations improvements, and personnel resource prioritization
  • Supervising and providing mentorship to 1-3 undergraduate interns
  • Being the primary support person for Editor-in-Chief of womensmentalhealth.org
  • Supporting development of, and posting, new website content
  • Tracking, compiling, and analyzing web site usage data
  • Managing and developing content for social media channels

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master's in public health, psychology, clinical research administration, or related field is a plus
  • A minimum of five years full-time relevant experience is required
  • A two year commitment is a plus
  • Relocation to Boston is required

Time Commitment
Full-time, with a 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. workday

Compensation
Starting at $65,000 per year, benefits are available.
