Position Description
Peter S. Halperin, M.D., P.C is seeking a full-time medical assistant. This is a perfect opportunity to get practical medical experience, if you're planning to take time off before graduate school.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Doctor during surgeries and office visits
- Escorting patients to exam rooms
- Taking medical histories
- Using the electronic medical system
- Communicating with other physician’s offices & labs
- Working with insurance companies & pharmacies
Position Requirements:
Time Commitment
Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 40 hours a week
Compensation
$15.00 per hour
