Position Description
Dermatology of Lower Manhattan is seeking a a medical assistant to assist dermatologists with medical duties. The position will involve working closely with two dermatologists and will enable the applicant to learn a great deal of medical experience in this field. The office is also happy to provide letters of recommendation for future applications.
Responsibilities Include
- Entering initial patient data into EMR
- Assisting with procedures (biopsies, surgeries etc.)
- Calling patients with lab results
- Contacting pharmacies
Time Commitment
Full-time, 30 - 35 hours per week with a preferable 1 year commitment
Compensation
$20 per hour but adjustable based on skill and competence demonstrated.
