Position Description The Metabolic Bone Disease Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell is looking to hire a clinical research coordinator. The coordinator will provide research, clinical, and administrative support for the office of Dr. Joseph Lane.
Assisting the clinical research team in recruitment, data collection and analysis
Performing protocol related interventions
Managing REDCap databases
Presenting at conferences
Training staff from other departments on protocol procedures
Managing essential regulatory documents
Submitting all necessary documents to the IRB
Facilitating research meetings
Assisting Dr. Lane in the clinic while seeing patients by taking their history and acting as a scribe during appointments
Escorting patients to radiology
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science or related field
Minimum of two years academic and/or work experience in the field of research
Desire to pursue a future career in medicine and/or research
Full-time, with a one-year commitment beginning summer 2022.
