Position Description
The Metabolic Bone Disease Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell is looking to hire a clinical research coordinator. The coordinator will provide research, clinical, and administrative support for the office of Dr. Joseph Lane.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the clinical research team in recruitment, data collection and analysis
- Performing protocol related interventions
- Scheduling follow-ups
- Managing REDCap databases
- Presenting at conferences
- Training staff from other departments on protocol procedures
- Managing essential regulatory documents
- Submitting all necessary documents to the IRB
- Facilitating research meetings
- Assisting Dr. Lane in the clinic while seeing patients by taking their history and acting as a scribe during appointments
- Escorting patients to radiology
Position Requirements
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a one-year commitment beginning summer 2022.
