Position Description
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Surgery’s Orthopedic Service in New York City. The coordinator will will work collaboratively as a member of the research team focused on responsibilities related to managing clinical trials data to fight against cancer.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Collecting, abstracting, and entering data for research projects, databases, and/or protocols (clinical trials). This includes reviewing patient charts, existing databases, and other sources within a specified timeframe.
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the life of the study.
  • Collaborating with members of the research and care teams across MSK regarding data input.
  • Generating data reports and delivering to all necessary parties on the progress of the research project, database, or protocol.
  • Designing and/or enhancing databases, data forms and tools (e.g. patient/human subject calendars, schedules, tracking logs) to facilitate patient consent and specimen collection as needed for assigned research projects.
  • Ensuring all appropriate Institutional, State, and Federal regulations throughout the study are followed.
  • Providing clerical and administrative support, such as filing and scheduling meetings and appointments as needed.
  • Coordinating clinical research protocols and serve as the main point of contact, if applicable

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree a plus

Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment. Mon. -  Fri., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Compensation
 $25.18 - $37.75 per hour.
