Position Description Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Surgery’s Orthopedic Service in New York City. The coordinator will will work collaboratively as a member of the research team focused on responsibilities related to managing clinical trials data to fight against cancer.
Collecting, abstracting, and entering data for research projects, databases, and/or protocols (clinical trials). This includes reviewing patient charts, existing databases, and other sources within a specified timeframe.
Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the life of the study.
Collaborating with members of the research and care teams across MSK regarding data input.
Generating data reports and delivering to all necessary parties on the progress of the research project, database, or protocol.
Designing and/or enhancing databases, data forms and tools (e.g. patient/human subject calendars, schedules, tracking logs) to facilitate patient consent and specimen collection as needed for assigned research projects.
Ensuring all appropriate Institutional, State, and Federal regulations throughout the study are followed.
Providing clerical and administrative support, such as filing and scheduling meetings and appointments as needed.
Coordinating clinical research protocols and serve as the main point of contact, if applicable
Bachelor's degree a plus
Full-time, with a two-year commitment. Mon. - Fri., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
