Position Description
The Tisch Cancer Institute Clinical Trials Program at Mount Sinai Health System is seeking clinical research coordinators on various levels. There are opportunities across several disease areas including Lung, Early Phase Trials Unit (EPTU), GU, Multiple Myeloma, and Lymphoma.

Responsibilities include

  • Providing support for care coordination, data management, specimen process for patients on clinical trials
  • Assisting Physician/PI with daily activities of clinical research studies and patient enrollments (including obtaining informed consent, collection of specimens & preparing shipments, and maintain/organize study information) and care coordination

Position Requirements

  • Level 1:
    • Bachelor's in Science or closely related field
    • 0-2 years of experience in a hospital or academic (research) environment 
  • Level 2: 
    • At least 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Study Coordinator, Data Manager, or similar role in clinical research.
    • Working knowledge Good Clinical Practice guidelines and Federal research regulations.
    • Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
    • Oncology experience a plus
    • Must be comfortable communicating clinical information to medical personnel
    • Strong computer literacy required
  • Senior coordinator 
    • Master's degree a plus
    • Certification in specialty area preferred (i.e. CCRP)
    •  4 years of clinical research experience; oncology experience a plus
