Position Description
Dr. Jennifer Kim of Yale Neurology Department, is recruiting a research associate to join her critical care neurophysiology group. The department is interested in all aspects of the management of patients with brain trauma and other acute neurological injuries, novel biomarkers and imaging techniques for brain injury, neurological outcome assessments, and more.
Research associates will gain extensive clinical experience by interacting with patients in the neurosciences ICU and working with the medical team. This position will provide the opportunity for grant writing, abstract and management preparation, and presentation at conferences, as well as to attend department conferences, lectures, and rounds.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong analysis skills (using MATLAB, Python, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in biologic signal processing, especially electroencephalography (EEG) data, spectral analysis, and machine learning methods a plus
- Experience with neuroimaging analysis (Freesurfer, tractorgraphy, fMRI) a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a 1 - 2 year commitment
