Position Description 
The Tisch Cancer Institute (Division of Hematology-Oncology) and Department of Cell, Developmental and Regenerative Biology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai are seeking an Associate Researcher. Graduating undergraduate seniors are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Helping in cellular analysis of cell culture and molecular and biochemical using flow cytometry, RT-PCR, and other approaches
  • Handling of laboratory mice, genotyping, and tracking of mouse colonies. Training will be provided as needed
  • Aiding in general lab organization
  • Restocking common reagents and solutions
  • Maintaining lab databases

Position Requirements: 

  • B.S. in Biomedical Sciences (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a research lab is required, preferably on an independent project such as for a senior honors thesis

Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment
