OwlNet Welcome Students: The mission of the GS Alumni Office is to establish, promote and manage a community of GS graduates and current students. We are dedicated to providing professional development and networking assistance to GS students by leveraging our extensive database of alumni. OwlNet, the GS alumni Web site, provides opportunities for former and current students to build and strengthen relationships with one another. Since many of you are in the process of starting or changing careers, OwlNet offers a mentoring program to help you learn from alumni in the particular fields that interest you. We also know how helpful assistance with your job search can be, so whether you are looking for a summer internship, an entry-level position or mid-career employment, we are here to help! There are over 15,000 alumni of the School of General Studies, so please take advantage of this extensive network of resources by registering on OwlNet. Sign up to have a mentor, browse our job listings or post your resume. You’ll also be registered to receive periodic e-mails informing you of OwlNet developments and alumni programming news. Overall, you’ll be joining a great community. Sincerely, New users must register at http://www.alumni.gs.columbia.edu/authenticate.htm to access OwlNet services.
