The newly expanded Marcellus Hartley Dodge
Physical Fitness Center features two gymnasia, an eight-lane
swimming pool, sixteen squash and racquetball courts, a tri-level
cardiovascular and strength training center, two dance/martial arts studios, a fencing room, a wrestling room, and a one-tenth mile indoor track.
The following is a description of the facilities available in the

LEVIEN GYMNASIUM
Three full courts used for basketball, volleyball, and badminton
UNIVERSITY HALL GYMNASIUM
One full-size court used for basketball, floor hockey, indoor soccer, volleyball and badminton
URIS POOL
An eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool and diving area
FITNESS AREA
A three-level facility featuring state of the art aerobic equipment (Stairmasters, Lifecycles, Treadmills, Upper Body Ergometer, Concept II Rowing
Machines, Versa Climber, and Nordic Trac machines); Weight Training circuits consisting of Nautilus,
Trotter, and Cybex units, and freeweight equipment.
BALCONY STRETCHING AREA
Matted stretching area featuring a mirrored wall
SQUASH AND HANDBALL COURTS
Fifteen squash courts, 10 of which may also be used for racquetball, paddleball, or handball.
AEROBICS ROOMS 3 & 4
Rooms featuring sprung wood floors suitable for dance and other selected activities
INDOOR RUNNING TRACK
Competitively banked 1/10 of a mile running track featuring a molded steel frame and a Mondo rubberized surface
TENNIS COURTS
Two hard courts are located on the Pupin Plaza. Reservations must be made in person at the Ticket Office up to two days in advance.
SAUNA
One located in each fourth floor main locker room
