Position Description
The New York Retina Center, a private practice providing high quality surgical and medical care to treat diseases and conditions that affect the retina, is seeking an ophthalmology technician. The position provides the opportunity to receive patient contact in an ambulatory office setting. The technician will gain experience with direct patient contact assessing visual acuity, intraocular pressure, refraction in addition to fundus photography, and optical coherence tomography.
Position Requirements
- Undergraduate education (ongoing or completed)
Time Commitment
Part-time (flexible scheduling, with three shift available per week). Shifts are available 9 a.m.–1 p.m. or 1–5 p.m. depending on the day.
